Troubleshooting

  1. Need to know:
    • If your device has been dropped or sustained water damage, your device will no longer be in warranty and you will need to cover the cost of any repairs.
    • Before calling into customer service, close all running apps, turn off the device and remove the battery. Reinsert the battery and power on the device. If the issue has still not been resolved, see below list of common queries for guidance.
  2. Is your device freezing?
    1. If the phone has been dropped or has liquid damage, your device falls out of warranty and you will need to get the device repaired in your own capacity.
    2. Make sure your device has enough space and isn’t running too many applications at once. Close unnecessary applications and delete irrelevant content.
    3. Turn off your device, remove the battery if possible and then reinsert it and power up the device.

  3. Does your device switch on and off by itself?
    1. If the phone has been dropped or has liquid damage, your device falls out of warranty and you will need to get the device repaired in your own capacity.
    2. Make sure your device has enough space and isn’t running too many applications at once. Close unnecessary applications and delete irrelevant content.
    3. Turn off your device, remove the battery if possible and then reinsert it and power up the device. 
    4. Make sure you don’t leave your device on charge over night. This leads to overcharging and can damage the battery.

  4. Does your device get hot when charging?
    1. We advise you not to charge your device overnight as this leads to over charging which can damage the battery.
    2. Only charge the battery for 3 hours or until the battery is charged, no longer.
    3. Avoid using your phone while it is charging.
    4. If this occurred as soon as you first charged the device, please call Customer Care on 0860009579.
  5. Does your battery life short or is reducing?
    1. Close any unnecessary apps when you have finished using them.
    2. Close your browser after surfing the internet.
    3. Deactivate the WiFi setting if you are not connected to the WiFi as this drains your battery while continuously searching to pair with open WiFi.
    4. Switch off or dim your back-light.
    5. Reduce ringing volume.
    6. Switch off keypad tones.
    7. Remove unnecessary home screen widgets.
    8. Update your apps. Applications often get updated to use less power.

  6. Want to connect your device to the K-Lite 4 Gen Watch?
    1. Go to Play store and download the application “SmartWear”.
    2. Ensure the device and watch Bluetooth is switched on.
    3. Connect the device with the watch.
